I was only 16 year old, in the Fall of 1969.
That's when my eyes first beheld him. My everlasting love.
He was standing there right in front of me. I was standing there right in front of him.
Then my soul whispered, as goose bumps ran wild,
THAT'S HIM!
I thought I would faint, then I pulled myself together,
walked quickly past him to find a seat on the bus.
That Fall day, well, I can think of no words, to express how much that day means to me.
I wonder how many young students meet "The One" when school begins in the "Fall"?

I always loved the "First" day of school preparations.
The aroma of new leather shoes, the soft mohair sweater, shiny school supplies,
meeting up with old friends, & meeting the new teacher.
But nothing has ever come close to the "Fall of 1969.
