"SPRING"
By, Cheryl Harwell Bailey
Today it's official!
The first day of "Spring."
How could this not be my favorite season,
when a patch of hot pink, or purple tulips startle me
each time I turn a corner.
Our wild dogwood trees are in full blossom,
one with a nest of big "Honeymooning" robins,
and a family of deer under another.
Why are the new buds so vibrant in high definition color?
Why are there so many kinds of birds?
Most of them are singing, not a flat note in the bunch.
Nature at it's finest with new life, sights & sounds.
It is as if spring were a
"Bride,"
dressed in all her splendor, for the wedding day!
Thank You God!
