"I LOVE LUCY"
While teaching at the "Vacaville Christian Academy,"
I met "Lucy." She was a "city girl!" I, a "country girl!"
She had a daily food column for the "Dailey Republic!"
Like Julia Child!
She taught "Art," classes at the academy.
She was a very sophisticated officers wife.
I, being a country girl, felt a little intimidated.
She knew this.
Which made my brilliant friend even more dear to me.
When she introduced her girls to me, I knew we had one thing in common. We were both romantics.
"JULIET," and "GABRIELLE!"
"JULIET," and "GABRIELLE!"
I tried as a "preachers wife," not to get to close to people!"
Impossible to do! Especially with "Lucy!"
Lucy adored, and had a special bond with "Sister Mary!"
Lucy was hungry for more of "God!"
She thought her "Tom," was "Tom Selleck!"
No guy on earth was good enough for
Princess Juliet or Princess Gabby!
Princess Juliet or Princess Gabby!
Lucy loved to entertain "Martha Stewart!" style.
We had such fun!
We had such fun!
Does anyone remember "John Payne" and "Get Back Joe Joe?"
We laughed until tears rolled down our cheeks, as Major Tom and Pastor Bailey never even cracked a smile.
Lucy's life was "Jesus!"
Her Husband
Her Children
Her Grandchildren
Her Friends
Her Church
She was a Lady
She motivated other Mama Bears to get out of their "Dens!"
She really cared about everyone.
