Andy Williams passed away today.
During the Full Moon.

God is in the details.

  one of the most beautiful songs of any era,

as only "Andy Williams" could sing it.

It's what I'm listening to right now,

as I look at the

 Full Moon.

The same "God-thing" happened during the last Full Moon.

"Neil Armstrong,"

the first man to walk on the Moon,

passed away.
During the Full Moon.

God is in the details!

I think he made a crater-stop, 

on his way to 
"Heaven."

let the golden sunshine in.

pull out the fall decor, and cuddly coverlets!

I'm blessed when I bake!

our kitchen is seasoned 

with homemade love!

 It's time to set an autumn table. 

 Burlap, wood bark, candles, pinecones, 

& indian corn.

open the back door too!

put a pillar candle in a hurricane vase.

  Surround it with leaves, acorns, or small pinecones.

the air is scented with spices.

In the Fall,

at bedtime,

 it's goose down snuggling!

he makes and brings me coffee!

 I love the crackly warm fire.

And Mr. Darcy's feet!

"The Princess and the Country Boy"
Part III

Based on The Old Testament, I & II Samuel

Hand and hand

Michal and David entered,

"The Banquet Room." 

It was a moment none could imagine. 

Bringing,

"The Royal Wedding,"

  to the memories of many.

They remembered how the perfectly proper "Princess Michal,"

pushed all arrogance aside, and burned with love for this shepherd son of Jesse.

Their story, one the scribes enjoyed penning in the annals of

"The History of Israel!"

They credited her with saving "Davids" life, and his sacred bloodline.

She was the instrument used by God to save him from her own Father's spear.

She did not know, the eternal implications of her decision at the time.

She only knew, she loved David.

"I notice you my Wife are the most beautiful woman in Israel,"

 "I mean that sincerely," remarked David, as he led her to the head of the table.

"As we walk in this new beginning, nothing can stop us."

"Nothing can stop Israel."

"Michal," you are my wife!"
"I can hardly wait to be with you again!"

"I am going to love and protect you."

" No one can hurt you now."

"I am the King!"

Michal smiled at David, pondering his reassuring words.

A steady stream of people came by to reminisce.

It was her big night.

Her heart fell at David's feet.

She could not help it.

In a shaky voice, Michal looked him in the eye and said,

"I"m still so in love with you David."

  She noticed a few women at the banquet table, she did not know.

This is the one thing, that really got to Michal that night.

Sitting up a little straighter, pulling her shoulders back, and holding her head up high,

she asked her servant to inquire as to who they were.

"My lady, they are wives of the King," answered Macie.

Wrestling with her thoughts she reasoned,

 he is mine now, that's all that matters.

They are of no consequence. 

I am

 FIRST WIFE!

 She must put her mind on the here and now.

There is no place she would rather be.

But somehow her heart ached for the time they lost together.

David had not come to this point in his life, without brilliant perception.

It was one of his many Godly gifts.

He knew exactly what she was thinking, as he leaned over, kissed her cheek,

and said,"let's get out of here my beloved!"

Everyone stood as they made their exit.

"Being with you brings it all vividly back to my heart, my love."

"Yes, David, I know!"

"But David, may I be completely honest with you?"

"Yes! Michal, as always. I don't want you to change."

"I haven't! I am the same man!"

"Okay, remember, you said I can be honest?"

"Yes?"

"Yes," reiterated David.

"I want to know why you married these women?"

David tried to explain,

"After you married Pal, I lost hope of ever seeing you again."

"I didn't know you had been forced into it."

" I was desperately lonely for you."

"Michal, I wanted you back so badly, that I didn't even care

if you wanted to stay in that unlawful marriage!"
"If I had to take you back by force!"

"You are mine."

 "I wanted you regardless."
"You are my First Love, Michal!"

"David, do you love the others?"

"They are a part of my family, yes!"
"I have no need of any woman but you."
"I should have known God would bring you back to me."
"I should have been patient and hopeful."
""There were times I closed my eyes, and imagined the others were you.

"I tried to fill the whole in my heart Michal. That's all."

"I found out, no one else could fill your place."

"You are the only one for me!"
"Forgive me?"

It was a dream come true.

The stress of assassination by Saul? Gone!

The fear of one, not loving the other, after all these years? Gone!

It was a pure night of romance and love.

The next morning when Michal woke, David was gone.

She thought about last night. He was even more handsome now, years later.

Some battle scars, but still so good looking.

His soulful personality was the same. He was "David!"

And he was hers for keeps.

She got busy. There was so much to do.

Royal apparel to ready.

A Royal palace to update.

The social events to coordinate.

And most important, romantic date nights to plan, starting tonight.

By evening they were dining on pheasant in front of the fire.

"Are you tired my sweet," asked David?

"Maybe a little, but I have had the best day."

"I've been looking at silks to redecorate the palace."
"Michal," don't waste your time on this place," said David.

" I failed to tell you an important piece of information."
"You better sit down my beloved."
"Praise to the Lord,"

I will be building a new palace in the months to come.
"WHAT?"

"Oh! This is thrilling, David!"

"My friend, King Hiram of Tyre, has blessed me with an awesome gift."

"The materials for a new palace, and a construction crew of master craftsmen to build it."

"Stone masons, carpenters, etc."

"Can you believe it Michal?"

"I can't wait to show you the cedar."

"My Love, it makes me want to shout for joy!"

"Remember the architectural plans we drafted all those years ago with Jonathan?"

"I have pulled them out. We can study them tonight."

"Now that we're together, nothing is impossible!"

" I will have it built in the new capital."

"What are you saying David, a new capitol for Israel?"

"Yes! Michal, Yes!"

"The United Kingdom of Israel's
 new capital is centrally located."

"Mount Mariah is at it's center."

"The sacred spot in Israel."
"The sacred place of Father Abraham."

Michal heard a knock at the door.

David answered it.

 The stringed quartet "David," requested 
 came into the room, and began to play,

David took Michal by the hand.

"Come my Michal, lets dance!"

On the journey to the new capitol,
 David rode his stallion back to Michals carriage,

 pulled back the drape exclaiming, "Look my Love!"

"Our new home."

Gazing at the scene she got goosebumps. That's odd she thought. 
What is this I'm feeling?

 She dismissed it, thinking she must be tired!

They all felt it. The presence of God!

Having no idea they were a part "God's eternal plan,"

how could they fathom the magnitude of it all?

They were marching to Zion.

"JERUSALEM"

They did not know, "Jerusalem" would never die!

 "Jerusalem" was the eternal city!

 "Jesus" would walk the streets of "Jerusalem!"

 The New Jerusalem will one day hover over old Jerusalem!

 ~

"Michal," was anxious , to put her expertise to work.

"No, not like that! Like this people!"

"May I suggest this color scheme?"

"This is the proper way to set the table."

 Embracing Michal in a big bear hug, David praised her.

"My Bride, you are amazing."

"This country boy appreciates your input."

Finally

The day came when "The House of David." was completed.

It was magnificent!

Dedication Services followed.

Michael noticed how much David prayed.

His gratitude was to be commended.

"Everything must be perfect Macie, especially me."

"My Lady, you have never been more lovely,

but I spied the King coming up the stairs."

"You may go Macie!"

Michal positioned herself at the entrance of the Royal Apartment.

"Greetings my Bride!"

After a passionate embrace,

 Michal put a blindfold on David,

 and lead him into their new "Royal Bed Chamber."

Laughingly she asked, "How do you like it King David?"
 She removed the blindfold.
"WOW!"

"This is beautiful Michal.  You have outdone yourself!"

"But the most exquisite part, is you!"

"Come and eat the little feast, I've prepared for you, my husband!"
"Here on our private balcony, overlooking your city!"
A breeze filled the room as Michal opened the double doors
 to a romantic candle light supper.  

"I had to fight for the kitchen today. I hope you like my cooking!"
"You made this?" asked David.
"Well yes; don't look so shocked." 
"I have been well trained in all things domestic."
"I was encouraged to live the lifestyle of a pampered Princess,
 but I truly enjoy the art of needlework, cooking, 
and so many other womanly pursuits."

"Michal my Bride, 
this is the best food I have ever tasted."
" What can I give you tonight in return for all this?"
Her answer didn't surprise him.

"A Baby!"

"I have never felt such a feeling of contentment in my entire life,"
 said Michal, as she snuggled next to him in their soft cozy bed.

"I'm so relaxed, I can barely hold my eyes open."

In "Jerusalem," they felt a peace that passes all understanding.

It was a very blessed time.

Everyday as David walked past the new tabernacle

he had a continuing desire fill his soul. God also needed a house.

 A "House of Worship."

Not a giant tent, but a fixed structure.

 David knew God had placed this desire in his heart.

David was familiar with God's voice.

He poured his heart out to Pastor Nathan, the great Prophet of Israel.

The Spirit of the Lord filled Nathan and he prophesied.

"Because you my servant David, have desired to build for me,  
a "House of Worship,"

 "I," the Lord God of Israel, shall establish your bloodline and throne forever."

"Jerusalem shall be from this day forward,"

"Jerusalem"

"The City of David "
