The Romance of Summer
By, Cheryl Harwell Bailey

Ya'll, it is hot, green, and fantastic outside!
The sun has been shining, with little bitty rain showers popping up here and there.
The smoky steam comes up
from our country road,
as Mr. Darcy and I take a walk
 with the grand dog.

Grand dog has a booboo foot.
He is getting better!

Thank you
my knight for building our nest!

This little mama....
Is multi tasking, upon the back porch.
5 "Purple Martin" baby chick chicks!

She was busy hatching these little blessings,
as we painted and stained our back porch!

BOOM! Back porch is finished.

I love all my old hand-me-downs.
We didn't spend a penny on the porch,
with the exception of paint and stain.

Did I mention how much I love flowers?
I really love wild cost free flowers!
I love how nature does her thing.

Wild "Bachelor Buttons!"

Wild "Scottish Thistles and Daisies!"

Wild "Climbing Pink Baby Rosebuds!"

Wild "Daisies!"

Wild "Queen Anne's Lace!"

Wild "Buttercups!"

Kitchen Herbs of Sage, Rosemary, & Thyme.
Not so wild!

Wild Grandfather & Granddaughter!
Look at all the eggs they laid Grandfather!
Grandmother can cook them right now.

Not so wild,
Snapdragons and Pink Carnations!

Wild and free "Woodpecker!"

Birthday "Butterfly Bush," is in full bloom.
A cherished gift from my Sterling son-in-love!

My Big Beautiful Bard-Rock Hen
"Dolly Bardrock!"

Dolly, Dixie, Daisy, and Fanny,
playing on our wild, Tennessee "Clover" lawn.

A dive Bomber Bird, flying above our
 not at all wild, Caeden.

Fence of wild stone,
that will never be completed!

Our wild "Turkey Hen."
Her "Tom Turkey" is down in the meadow.

Our wild doe with night vision, last spring.
She came to visit Randall and I today in July!
She brought her big
Buck and baby Bambi to meet us! Really!
I didn't have my camera. The baby looked just like Bambi. Tiny with spots!

Now for the finishing touch upon the back porch,
"OLD GLORY!"
I pledge allegiance to the flag
 of
The United States of America!

This big Ole' Super Moon dropped by to
bath the new porch in God's light!

Wonderful family love, breaking bread, and enjoying each other upon the back porch.

Ya'll come back now,
real soon!
