Castle Petite
Spring 2015

Loving my newest camera lens.
Thank you Jessica!

The Cornflowers I planted 2 years ago have exploded this year.

"Let's take a selfie mama!"

Hey Everybody!
 Would you like
 a glance of our springtime,
which is going by,
WAY
too fast.

We are blessed at "Castle Petite,"
to dip our toes in the cold water creek,
meandering through our land.
I love it this time of year.
The Honeysuckle scent fills the air, as the water gurgles and swishes past the rocks.

She's making a decision.
"To nest or not to nest?"

"Tweet, tweet, my sweet!"

"Welcome back Hummer Pie!"
 "Home-brewed, sweet, iced,
Humming Bird Honey,
coming up!"

"My fresh home brewed Iced Coffee is
ready too!"

I'll drink it on the porch.

"Miss Willie Mae Woodpecker,
may I get you a glass of fresh brewed
Iced Coffee?"
"Peck, peck, peck, peck ....peck!"

The cuttings from last year are coming along.
 Baby bitty, rambling, tumbling,
pink roses grow wild in Tennessee.
They remind me of my grandma.

I have a handsome college man
living at "Castle Petite!"
Our grandson Conner graduated with
honors and scholarships.
I can't believe he's going to Lee University,
in less than a month.

"What?"

Mrs. Gobble Girl shows up each spring.
"Gobble, gobble, gobble!"

Big Oak is a survivor of tornados,
and grandsons.

Our Roses Wild out back.

The Roses Wild adorn our
"Mothers Day," table.

"Look what Grandmother, Oma, and our Moms made!"

"I'm serious! This tastes good!"

I planted "California Poppies," from back home this year.
"Poppies," are the California State Flower.
I am so excited to see them grow in my Tennessee home.

"What light by yonder window doth break?"
William Shakespeare

Looking out the Snuggery window.
"Did somebody turn on the lights?"

The Tennessee State Flower is the "Iris."
I planted these a few years back.
Very little work for such breathtaking beauties!

Our abode, "Castle Petite" is serene.
My soul soaks up, like a sponge,
every sight, sound, scent, touch, and taste!
It is JOY unspeakable and full of God.
