The Royal Wedding
A Royal Wedding
is a glorious marvel to behold.
I got up at 4:30, and watched it all.
Twice!
William and Harry
We have all been hoping Prince Harry
would find his true love.
His once in a lifetime love.
He pursued Meghan,
from the moment he beheld her face.
He chased her.
Fire!
She is his.
He is hers.
I particularly enjoyed this royal wedding best!
An "American Bride."
A "California Girl."
A "World Vision"
and other non-profits volunteer.
A stunningly smiling Bride.
She looks so happy sitting beside her mother.
A daughter who loves and honors her mother.
I am certain this mother and daughter know, dreams can come true.
A grateful girl who has the state flower of California embroidered onto her bridal veil.
The California Poppy.
She remembers her home,
as she enters a new one.
Am I the only one who felt
as if I were actually there?
Am I the only one whose heart softened,
toward the future,
"King Charles of Great Britain?"
Indeed, I think not.
An earth shaking compassionate moment.
Am I the only one who felt
as if I were in a Pentecostal church service?
Fire!
This sounds like a story in the Bible,
does it not?
A sweet beautiful girl meets the most famous bachelor on earth.
"Prince Harry!"
He is of royal blood.
He grew up,
the grandson of the THE QUEEN.
The son of Prince Charles and Lady Diana.
His Dad will be THE KING.
His brother William will be THE KING
someday.
He is a brave war Hero.
An amazing friend and volunteer to veterans.
Creator of "The Invictus Games"
for wounded, disabled, or sick warriors.
She grew up on the other side of tracks.
In the gang ridden Crenshaw borough of L.A.
At the age of 6, Meghan's parents divorced.
They are both a part of her life.
Daria Ragland, her magnificent mother
is African American, a descendant of slaves.
She is a multi-job working mom.
Meghan is her only child.
Thomas Markel her father, is Caucasian.
He is a retired Hollywood lighting director.
Tom has 3 children, including Meghan.
Meghan attended an all girls Catholic school.
She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Theatre from
Northwestern University.
She is an actress.
As soon as she was able,
she helped her mother attend college.
Daria is recently graduated and is a social worker for a non- profit organization.
Which is always what she wanted to do.
Though worlds apart,
they fell madly in love.
They will be married in Windsor Castle's
Saint George's Chapel.
At the last moment,
her father cannot come to her wedding.
He is in ill health.
The future King,
Prince Charles
The Prince of Wales
becomes a redeemer.
The son of Great Britain's
reigning Queen Elizabeth the II,
the father of the Prince Harry,
walks the Bride down the aisle.
This has never happened before!
She joins her Bridegroom at the alter.
The music is angelic and regal.
The classic sacred vows are said.
They are coupled in Holy Matrimony.
They are one.
And live happily ever after!
Right?
Oh yes!
I love true stories!
The Bridegroom watching his Bride.
I have always loved William and Harry.
We all have.
Prince Harry's face of tenderness and love.
Bowing in prayer before
The Lord Jesus Christ.
America's "Cinderella"
and
Planet Earth's "Prince Charming!"
"I am my beloved's, and he is mine!"
"The Song of Solomon!"
"Behold the Newlyweds!"
"Family!"
"Precious Princess Charlotte!"
"The Royal Family!"
Six little maids, and four little pageboys.
"Prince Harry and Princess Meghan!"
And may the Lord bless and keep them!
